Who is C?

Let's give this a whirl then..
I keep being told by friends and family that I need to find an outlet to share my opinions, thoughts, reviews etc. on beauty products that I love (and some I talk about less admirably). Now, I'm not sure that this isn't just because they're bored of me talking about it to them, or in fact that they believe I can make a go of it. But hey-ho if one does not try, one does not know if it can be done. To begin with I thought it might be nice to start with a few basic comments about who I am and what I plan on writing about.

So, who am I? I'm Cressida, a 19 year old, second year history student in the University of Liverpool. But originally come from South Wales, just outside Cardiff. And I'm beauty and fashion obsessed!

What do I intend to do with this blog? I hope that this can be a student friendly (but also helpful for those beyond the bounds of student life) blog about all things beauty and fashion. Beauty and fashion are things that make me very happy and more excited than they probably should. I want to share this enthusiasm with other people. To inspire them to revisit products they have stashed away, but maybe to make the odd cheeky purchase too!

What shall I discuss? I cannot say exactly (it is my first blog post after all!) but I am expecting to focus on beauty- budget and a few higher end products. But I expect I shall dip my toe into the waters of fashion posts from time to time too.

Why? Why not! I've been obsessed with the online beauty community for years now and it seems ridiculous that I don't partake. I've watched/read the likes of Sammi, Estee, Vivianna, Fleur, Tanya (and many many more) for years and years now and never plucked up the courage to take part in this online community but I feel like I could impart a slightly different opinion as a student, meaning that due to my budget I won't be talking about £100 products well not unless my student loan magically triples?!

When? I plan on posting every saturday morning.. today aside.

I really hope that this has appealed to some of you. It has certainly allowed me to firm up some ideas about the direction in which I intend this blog taking. So let's begin this journey together.
