Here are my March Favourites. I'm so glad this month is over because most of April I get to be at home for a nice long Easter break, which I cannot wait for. I thought it might be fun to show you just a few things I've been loving this month, both beauty and random.
Enjoy!
First up is the Clinique Dramatically Different Moiturizing Lotion for Dry Combo skin. This was my first ever moitsuriser and the truth is that for the day time, I haven't found anything better. For a few months I've been trying out different cheaper daytime creams but I always seem to gravitate back to this one. As you can see from the picture, I have only a little bit left, but when my next instalment of my student loan comes in (another reason I'm excited about April) I will be sure to go and pick up some more. I may even invest in the 125ml with the pump (£29.50 can be justified, right?).
I've talked about this next one in quite a few posts recently so this may not come as a surprise. It is of course the MAC Face and Body Foundation in N3. This is my second 120ml bottle which probably says it all. I love this for a lighter base day but I particularly like it mixed with a higher coverage foundation. The finish is pretty dewy so I definitely need to powder it, but once powdered it makes my skin look incredible. I think it works best when applied with fingers so it can be properly worked into the skin. It has a way of making my skin look as though it is glowing from within. I know with the summer months approaching this foundation will be getting some serious use.
Next is this combination of mascaras. Neither are that amazing on their own, but together... oh my. I first use the Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express 100% Black to define and lengthen my lashes. Then I use the No7 Intense Volume Waterproof Mascara to thicken them up and give them that oomphf. I actually really like the way the Maybelline mascara makes my lashes look, but it falls down under my eyes and makes me look like a panda. Whereas the No7 mascara won't budge until taken off with my Bioderma at the end of the day.
The MUA Heaven and Earth palette is next on the list. It's a palette I've had for a long time, but I generally would reach for the Sleek Neutrals palette because of the matte shades. But recently I've been loving these shimmery shades. They're pigmented, blend well and the shades are stunning.
Now for nails. The colour I've been reaching for is this Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in Blueberry. It is a really vibrant pastel blue that really makes my nails pop. One downside is the formula. I have to apply two very thin coats, allowing each coat to dry completely, otherwise it just never dries. It's a real pain in the arse but the colour makes me see past that.
This shower gel is next up. The Soap and Glory Clean on Me Shower Gel is awesome. It smells incredible! It's the kind of shower gel that smells good long after you've got out of the shower- yum. Also it seems to be lasting me ages. I've had this in my shower since Christmas and it is only just over half-way done. Plus the pump is super handy.
Now my more random favourites.
Firstly these shoes. I got them in Primark a few weeks ago for about £14. This winter I have lived in black boots and have loved the cut-out boot trend. So I feel like these are my step on for spring/summer. They are super comfy and fit me perfectly. I adore them with bare legs (when I'm braving the cold/rain of Liverpool) and with tights.
For TV I've been madly watching Pretty Little Liars. I watched up to season 3 before Christmas and then this month I've watched the whole of season 4. The acting is pretty shite but the story-line is so so addictive. Plus I am in awe of the girls makeup, they look flawless in every episode. I cannot wait for season 5.
And to finish a favourite song. This is hard so I've narrowed it down to two.
First is Paolo Nutini's Iron Sky. I used to love his music back in the day and this song proves he still most definitely has it. The vocals are flawless and so moving. Just amazing.

Secondly is Real by Years and Years. I have this song on repeat at the moment. It's just so so good!!
