My Current Skin Care Routine: Morning and Night

This Saturday I thought I'd talk you through my skin care routine as it stands at the moment. I'm really happy with this combination but it is ever changing! As ever, I am far from an expert so I'd love opinions and help!

Morning Routine

In my morning shower I will first scrub my face with the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub- I love this scrub because there are loads of exfoliating beads but they aren't too harsh, it leaves my face feeling really clean. Then I double cleanse by using the Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel. It's so gentle and foams up beautifully, the perfect step just before I get out the shower.
Once out of the shower I inevitably have a little bit of eye-makeup smudged under my eyes, so on a cotton pad I take a little bit of Bioderma Crealine H2O Solution Micellaire. After that I would normally use a toner but right now I'm without one- please leave me suggestions!
Then I moisturise with a golden-oldie Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. And lastly I take a little lip-balm before applying my make-up.

Evening Routine

At the end of the day I take off my eye-makeup and most of my face makeup with a pile of cotton pads and Bioderma Crealine H2O Solution Micellaire. It's definitely as amazing as the hype would let on. Then either in the shower or over the sink, I use a bog-standard face wash, in this case the Waitrose Pure Face Wash but empty the bottle into the Clinique pump Liquid Facial Soap because it's so handy to have face wash in a pump bottle. I use this to thoroughly remove any makeup left on my face. Then I take the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub and then Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel- leaving my skin squeaky clean! Once I'm in my pjs I apply Benefit It's Potent eye-cream to my under-eye-area, then moisturise with Oilatum. In bed I liberally apply Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream to my lips.

My 'Sometimes' Products

On spots I don't think anything can beat Sudocrem, so whenever I breakout I liberally apply this wonder. On the same theme, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is another cream I apply to particularly stubborn breakouts, or when I'm having a particularly bad skin time I apply a thin layer all over my face.
I'm pretty useless at applying masks but when I do I really like this Superdrug Mud Therapy Deep Cleansing Mud Mask. It's cheap and effective!

I hope you've enjoyed this insight into my skincare routines.

Lots of Love C xxx
